The Sydney Project will be embarking on an ambitious mapping exercise in a bid to map shipwrecks discovered (to date) by the team.
The Ambitious project is estimated to take up two years to complete, and produce accurate detailed models of each wreck.
The objective is to give visiting divers a complete picture of the site, to help them find areas of interest and items to see. But this is also to have a visual presentation to the non-diver and those that would never dive to these depth.
Mapping will be a combination of drawing, measuring, video and still imaging. The combination should present a complete visual presentation to the wider public and to those that study marine history.
Updates on the project will be posted as they become available.
