First dived by Sydney Project divers in 2006, originally thought to be iron ore carrier Iron Knight, but further dives revealed a different vessel. Identity remains a mystery but progress has been made in identifying the gun type and length of the wreck.

The ship is equipped with a British 12 pounder gun, and was measured 90m long.

The closest match at this stage is the American WW1 type liberty ship Coast Farmer, which matches the length and configuration, but further research is needed.
